I’m a writer, thinker and sometimes Creative Director, preferably acting more as translator than creator. 

When not working to make a living, I try to think in non-absolutes, to stay balanced in the nuanced grey, and attempt to narrate urgent new complexities.

I.e. how do we want live today for the futures we need tomorrow?

      A24 Public Access
      This one time event was held in the summer of 2019, across six billboards in the US. Each minimal white billboard was turned into a cinema overnight. Each hosted movies in the areas and for the fans that made A24 what it is today.

      Write, Camera, Action
      Over the years I have assisted Ferdinando Verderi and his team during their Creative Direction of various fashion campaigns, amongst them for Prada, Stone Island and Louis Vuitton. 

      While helping conceptualize campaigns in the early days, the last few years I have been exclusively involved with production — assting with directing, guiding models and actors, or rewriting dialogue and actions on set.

      Working with the Nike Creative Lab I strategized and named their latest innovation platform that reduces 75% of its carbon footprint through a first generation material.

      In preparation for a redesign of the Music Video destination Vevo, I helped PORTO ROCHA to listen to the people at the center of it. 

      Over the course of 2 weeks we conducted one-on-one interviews with stakeholders, which resulted in the work you can see here on PORTO ROCHA’s own website

      Uncut Gems Merch
      "So Look…Let's F**King Bet On This" — While the idea to let people bet on how much the movie would gross its opening weekend could unfortunately not be realized, we were happy to see some of the merch ideas pop up at the Uncut Gems pop up (held in the actual diamond district where the movie takes place and was shot).

      COINS?

      Lately, and maybe always, I’ve been obsessed with coins — despite never collecting them. From ideas about new local currencies to the tangibility of them as talismans, they call something up in me. Even if they haven’t fully found their place yet. So for now one coin randomly generates at the top of this site as a little decoration. 

      I’m especially fond of coin (1) (in fact not a coin but an overpriced commodity, and yet its shape is perfect). The plus, or cross, is a non-religious symbol here but lends itself to a similar grounding: a reminder of trying to stay balanced between different axes:

      • the individual ↔ the collective
      • the present ↔ the future
      • mittigate ↔ adapt
      • systemic ↔ direct
      • effort ↔ affordance
      • ignorance ↔ infomania
